At Eastern Christian, we value the abilities and contributions of young children. Our program is designed to help children develop spiritually, educationally, socially and emotionally. Children’s learning is enhanced through discovery and hand-on learning in a safe, loving and nurturing environment.
Hours: Thursdays, 9:00 – 11:00 AM
Fall Session: October 6 – December 15, 2011
Spring Session: February 2 – May 17, 2012
BIBLE
While learning Bible stories, children will learn about God and his love for them. They will learn that they are special to God. Students learn about Old Testament heroes and about Jesus' life in the New Testament.
Social Development
A variety of activities in the Time for Twos class stimulate children's speech and language skills. Children are taught to share and to interact and play with each other.
Language Development
Through listening activities, children's language development is increased. Their ability to communicate orally is stimulated and their vocabulary increases. They begin to have an interest in books and the spoken word.
Auditory Development
A variety of activities will enhance children's listening skills, both individually and in group situations. They begin to sit quietly for a short story.
Pre-Number Activities
Early number activities will introduce children to number awareness. Children will begin early counting and be introduced to basic shapes.

Special Activities
Welcome to Eastern Christian School – an environment where each student is honored as created in God’s image. Here at EC we strive for academic excellence and to live in service to His Kingdom. I invite you to explore our website further and find out how this mission is played out daily in the lives of our students.
I transferred into Eastern Christian as a sophomore because I was looking for a school that was more conducive to learning. I have found the teachers and curriculum here very stimulating.
